3 Description

The TLV40x1 devices are low power, high precision comparators with precision thresholds and 360ns propagation delay. These comparators are packaged in an ultra-small 0.73mm × 0.73mm DSBGA package, making the TLV40x1 suitable for space-critical designs such as portable or battery-powered designs that require low power consumption and fast response to changes in operating conditions.

The combination of factory-trimmed switching thresholds and precision hysteresis makes the TLV40x1 ideal for voltage and current monitoring in harsh, noisy environments where slow input signals must be converted into clean digital outputs. Likewise, brief glitches on the input are suppressed, thus ensuring stable output operation without false triggering.

The TLV40x1R1/2 are available in a variety of configurations, allowing system designers to achieve their desired output response and performance. For example, the TLV4021 and TLV4031 have open-drain output stages, while the TLV4041 and TLV4051 have push-pull output stages. Additionally, the TLV4021 and TLV4041 have a non-inverting input, while the TLV4031 and TLV4051 have an inverting input.
