3 Description

The TLV7031/TLV7041 (single) and TLV7032/42 (dual) are low voltage, nanopower comparators. These devices are available in an ultra-small leadless 0.8mm × 0.8mm package and standard 5-pin SC70 and SOT-23 packages, making them suitable for space-constrained designs such as smartphones, smart meters, and other portable or battery-powered applications in the direction terminal.

The TLV703x and TLV704x offer an excellent combination of speed and power with a propagation delay of 3µs and a quiescent supply current of 335nA. Power-sensitive systems are able to monitor fault conditions and respond quickly, thanks to the advantages of fast response at nanopower. These comparators operate from 1.6V to 6.5V, making them compatible with 3V and 5V systems.

The TLV703x and TLV704x also overdrive the input and internal hysteresis to ensure no output phase reversal, so engineers can use this family of comparators in harsh, noisy environments where slow input signals must be converted into clean digital outputs. Precision voltage monitoring.

The TLV703x features a push-pull output stage capable of sinking/sourcing milliamp currents while controlling LEDs or driving capacitive loads.
