Description of ISO7320-Q1
The ISO732x-Q1 family of devices provides galvanic isolation up to 3000 VRMS for up to 1 minute per UL 1577 and 4242 VPK isolation per VDE V 0884-10. These devices feature two isolated channels with logic input and output buffers separated by silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulating barriers.
The two channels of the ISO7320-Q1 are oriented in the same direction, while the two channels of the ISO7321-Q1 are oriented in the opposite direction. Default output level (part ordering part number with suffix for device) or level (ordering part number for device without suffix) in case of input power or signal loss. For more information, see Device Functional Modes. When used with isolated power supplies, these devices help prevent noise currents on data buses or other circuits from entering the local ground or causing interference or damage to sensitive circuits. The ISO734x-Q1 family of devices have integrated noise filters for harsh industrial environments. Under such circumstances, short noise pulses may appear on the input pins of the device. The ISO732x-Q1 family of devices features transistor-transistor logic (TTL) input thresholds and operates from 3V to 5.5V.
With innovative chip design and routing techniques, the electromagnetic compatibility of the ISO732x-Q1 family of devices has been significantly enhanced, ensuring system-level ESD, EFT and surge protection and compliance with emissions standards.
