The OPA1622 is a dual-channel, bipolar input, SoundPlus™ audio operational amplifier. The device has a frequency of 1kHz

Ultra-low noise density of 2.8nV/√Hz and ultra-low THD+N of –119.2dB, while also capable of driving a 32Ω load with an output power of 100mW. The OPA1622 has very high AC power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) specifications to eliminate noise from the power supply, making it ideal for portable audio applications. In addition, the device features a high output drive capability of +145mA/–130mA.

The OPA1622 supports a wide supply voltage range of ±2V to ±18V with a supply current of only 2.6mA per channel. The OPA1622 op amp is unity-gain stable and maintains excellent dynamic performance over a wide range of load conditions. The OPA1622 has a shutdown mode that allows the amplifier to switch from a normal operating state to a state where the standby current is typically less than 5µA. This shutdown feature is designed to eliminate click and pop noise when entering or exiting shutdown mode.

The unique layout inside the OPA1622 results in minimal crosstalk and zero interaction between channels even under overdrive or overload conditions. This device is rated for temperatures between –40°C to +125°C.
