TDK's compact DC-link solution for PCB mounting in cylindrical package
TDK/EPCOS B32320I*_Series Capacitors Image TDK Corporation Introduces the B32320I*_Series of compact cylindrical DC-link capacitors for mounting on PCBs, designed for voltages from 450 VDC to 1300 VDC and covers 6.5 μF to 260 μF capacitance range. Current handling capability IRMS up to 27.6 A (10 kHz, +60°C) with a minimum ESR of 2.4 mΩ. These DC link capacitors are designed for a maximum hot spot temperature of +105°C. Plastic housing complies with UL 94 V-0.
Depending on the model, the dimensions are between 35 mm x 53 mm and 60 mm x 120 mm. Due to the relatively high insertion height (compared to cube-style capacitors), these DC support capacitors have a lower PCB footprint considering the capacity. All models in this series feature five pins to ensure high current capability and high stability on the PCB.
