3 Description
The OPA828 JFET is the next generation of the OPA627 and OPA827 operational amplifiers, combining high speed with high DC precision and high AC performance. This op amp achieves low offset voltage (50μV), low temperature drift (0.45μV/°C typ), low bias current (1pA typ), and low noise (4nV/√Hz typ) with only 60nVRMS 0.1 Hz to 10Hz. The OPA828 operates over a wide supply voltage range of ±4V to ±18V with only 5.5mA (typ) of supply current per channel.
AC characteristics including 45MHz gain-bandwidth product (GBW), 150V/μs slew rate and precision DC characteristics make the OPA828 ideal for a variety of systems. These include high-speed and high-resolution data acquisition systems (eg, 16- and 18-bit mixed-signal systems), transimpedance (I/V conversion) amplifiers, filters, precision ±10V front ends, and high-impedance sensor interface applications.
The OPA828 device is available in an industry-standard 8-pin SOIC surface mount package and is rated for operation over the –40°C to +125°C temperature range.
