JW?5040 is a current mode monolithic step-down voltage converter. The JW5040 has an input range of 3.8V-18V, can deliver 2.7A of continuous output current and two integrated N-channel MOSFETs. At light loads, the regulator operates at low frequency to maintain high efficiency and low output ripple.
JW5040 has functions such as short circuit protection, thermal protection, current runaway protection and input under voltage lockout to ensure stability.
Available in 6-pin SOT563 and TSOT23-6 packages, the JW5040 provides a compact solution with simple external components.
