GL852G
The USB_HUB circuit refers to a circuit that can expand a USB interface into multiple (usually 4), and can use these interfaces at the same time. USB is an external bus standard used to standardize the connection and communication between PC and external devices, and the USB interface supports plug-and-play and hot-plug functions.
This design circuit adopts GL852GT series devices (USB 2.0 MTT Hub Controller), a 4-port hub solution, the specification revision is 2.0, GL852GT implements various hub configuration functions in the internal ROM, requires an external EEPROM, but is packaged in LQFP48 No external EEPROM is required, the MCU detects general purpose I/O (GPIO) status during operation, and configures the number of downstream ports through the GPIO settings. The manual proposes to achieve 6 MIPS at 12mhz, so choose 12mHz in the external crystal.
