The TPS62065-Q1 and TPS62067-Q1 devices are high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converters. The device can deliver up to 2A of output current.
The device has an input voltage range of 2.9V to 6V, making it ideal for 5V or
3.3V system power rail for power conversion. The TPS62065-Q1 and TPS62067-Q1 operate at a fixed frequency of 3MHz and enter a power-saving mode at light load currents to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. This power saving mode is optimized for low output voltage ripple. For low noise applications, the TPS62065-Q1 device can be forced into fixed frequency PWM mode by pulling the MODE pin high. The TPS62067-Q1 provides an open-drain power-good output. In shutdown mode, current consumption drops to 5µA while internal circuitry discharges the output capacitor. The TPS62065-Q1 and TPS62067-Q1 devices are optimized for use with tiny 1μH inductors and small
10µF output capacitors work together to achieve minimum solution size and high regulation performance.
The TPS62065-Q1 and TPS62067-Q1 devices are available in a small 2 × 2 × 0.75mm 8-pin WSON package.
