F81803 is a featured IO chip for PC system, equipped with ATX_AT bundled pins, two UART ports, up to 128 bytes FIFO, providing 9-bit (multi-drop) function, one 80-port (multi-port with COM2), hardware keyboard controller . The UART supports legacy speeds up to 115.2K bps, as well as higher baud rates of 230K, 460K or 921K bps to support higher speed modems. The F81803 integrates a hardware monitor, 7 sets of voltage sensors, 2 sets of innovative automatic control fans, and 2 temperature sensor pins for accurate measurement of dual current mode temperature of CPU thermal diode or external transistor 2N3906. In addition to this, the F81803 supports the latest AMD TSI, Intel PECI 3.0 interface and SMBus for temperature sensing, and provides power sequencing controller functionality for AMD platforms.
The F81803 provides flexible functionality for multidirectional applications. In a G3-like state, the F81803 consumes only 5VA of the power rail. Two integrated control pins are used to turn the VSB rail on or off in a G3-like state. The switched-on VSB rails are provided to wake-up devices to enable low-power systems that support wake-up functionality.
