On January 14, Samsung announced the completion of the acquisition agreement for US network service provider TeleWorld Solutions (TWS), which is expected to promote the expansion of 5G networks in the United States.

Under the agreement, TWS will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics America, Samsung said. The acquisition provides Samsung with expertise in design, testing, and optimization services for mobile services, cable operators and OEM equipment manufacturers.

It is reported that after the acquisition, TWS will continue to provide services to existing customers, and the current leadership team will also remain in place.
