Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator of RAKON(C/MAC)

Rakon (http://www.rakon.com) is a GPS crystal oscillator. Its temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal (crystal) account for more than 50% of the GPS equipment market. Internationally renowned GPS solution manufacturers such as Atmel, U-Blox, RF MICRO DEVICES, SiRF, SiGe, Fujitsu, Global Locate, MAXIM, XEMICS, Unav, Zarlink, etc. all use Rakon products.

In February 2007, Rakon acquired the C-MAC frequency device division FCP. C-MAC is an excellent crystal oscillator manufacturer. Testing, medical, electric power, search and rescue, military and space fields have won the recognition of our customers. In China, mainstream communication equipment manufacturers and a considerable number of military manufacturers use C-MAC products. China Beidou is a typical application of C-MAC products.

Ovenized Crystal Oscillator

Through the development and design of electronic circuits and crystals, Lekang has provided a range of products with unparalleled performance optimized OCXOs for many years.

Raycon has been able to replace expensive rubidium clocks from oven-controlled crystal oscillators in SDH to complete solutions for 2-layer SONET/SONET applications, through to low profile oven oscillator products. Raycon's self-calibrating oven controlled crystal oscillators can maintain better than ±16 small ports of stability

(1.6 x 10-8) for the entire life time of the product and can reach a temperature of less than 0.05 small port (5 x 10-11) for stability.

Lekang's CFPODO series of super single oven oven controlled crystal oscillators offer equally good, or even better performance than comparable dual oven oven controlled crystal oscillators, but from a smaller, lower cost device. The CFPODO offers ± 0.1 small port (± 1.0 x 10 stable-10) over its operating temperature range, while it yields higher stability 24-hour TAX than 7µs under all operating conditions. This is all reference suitable as a frequency source and time keeping synchronization system. A self-calibrating version.

Other OCXO products include high altitude, low phase noise and low profile ovens. Recon provides specially tailored solutions to suit a variety of applications including network timing synchronization, base stations, telecommunications infrastructure, commercial, industrial, military and space-constrained requirements.

Temperature Compensated Ovenized Crystal Oscillator

Lekang's Triton series of low-cost oven-controlled crystal oscillators bridge the gap between ultra-stable TCXOs and traditional high-end oven-controlled crystal oscillators in terms of cost, stability, size, weight and power consumption.

Triton's™ series of products incorporate proprietary ASIC compensation technology that simplifies oven control, creating a hybrid product that is stable down to 25ppb capability (2.5 x 10-8) temperature.

Combined with Recon's proprietary Pluto oven temperature compensation technology, Triton offers stability better than ±50ppb in a Diller-14 lead package (RFPO20) and a 14.0 x 9.0mm reflow solderable surface mount package (RFPO30).

Ultra Stable Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator

Lekon's ultra-stable TCXO products provide the performance of a TCXO with the frequency stability achieved from. For TCXOs, these markets are near the performance requirements of OCXOs, but without the high cost and power consumption.

The ultra-stable TCXO is based on Recon's proprietary technology to solve Pluto high-volume applications where high stability is required. Pluto employs tilt compensation to remove the adverse effects of adjusting the control voltage of the TCXO for long-term drift. The Pluto's 7.0 x 5.0 mm CFPT-9000 series and 5.0 x 3.0 mm CFPT-9300 series provide stable TCXOs better than ±100 small ports over the commercial temperature range.

The Pluto® and Barracuda® TCXO product lines meet the requirements of the demanding communications and precision GPS markets. With a wide choice of temperature and output stability to 100ppb (1 x 10-7), these products are ideal for home wireless base stations, distress beacons and other high-capacity, stability-critical applications.

The Pluto family is the world's product to meet the often overlooked problem of voltage control tilt in VTC devices.

High Stability Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator

Recon has developed a high stability TCXO product for high volume consumer applications. These products have become the default standard for consumer GPS and other performance critical volume applications.

Recon pioneered the 0.5ppm TCXO and supplies products down to 2.0 x 2.5 frequency ramps" 50ppb/°C mm

These products come in a variety of form factors, from larger 7.0 x 5.0 mm footprints, through to tiny 2.5 x 2.0 mm package heights less than 1.0 mm. All offer high stability over the required temperature range and very low frequency slope ("0.5ppm) (small port/°C) at a very competitive cost.

Ideal for consumer GPS such as personal navigation devices and mobile phones and other demanding applications.

Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator

A range of solutions are available with the same frequency as CMOS, PECL or LVDS outputs up to 700MHz.

Recon has knowledge in high performance, low jitter, low phase demanding applications including telecom and test and measurement noise VCOs.

Recon also offers commercial products in 5.0 x 3.2 and 7.0 x 5.0 mm packages for video applications, such as a 27 MHz VCO.

Recon has over 40 years of experience in crystal design and manufacture today is AT, Y and Veteran range cutting industry standard for various crystal and ultra small SMD package sizes. Leikang's HiG? crystals can withstand more than 20,000 gravity sudden changes, and are very resistant to noise caused by vibration frequencies.
