Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, today announced the launch of the Qualcomm QTM527 mmWave antenna module for the Snapdragon X55 5G modem and RF system, providing the world’s first fully integrated range extension for 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). The Qualcomm QTM527 mmWave antenna module extends the capabilities of the Snapdragon X55 5G modem and RF system to provide a complete modem-to-antenna platform for flexible, cost-effective high-performance 5G mmWave CPE. Qualcomm Technologies leverages its technology leadership in 5G mmWave to provide high-power CPE solutions for power class 1 devices to support mobile operators and OEMs with a plug-and-play alternative to wireline and fiber deployments The multi-gigabit connection method used to accelerate the rapid deployment of high-speed Internet access services in suburban, rural areas and dense urban environments where demand cannot be fully met.
