AD9609BCPZ-80 Analog-to-Digital Converter
The AD9609 is a monolithic, single-channel, 10-bit, 20/40/65/80 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a 1.8 V supply. Built-in high-performance sample and hold circuit and on-chip reference voltage source.
The product uses a multi-stage differential pipeline architecture, built-in output error correction logic, provides 10-bit accuracy at 80 MSPS data rate, and guarantees no missing codes over the entire operating temperature range.
The ADC has built-in features to maximize device flexibility and minimize system cost, such as programmable clock and data alignment, generation of programmable digital test patterns, and more. Available digital test patterns include built-in fixed and pseudo-random codes, as well as user-defined test patterns entered via the Serial Port Interface (SPI).
All internal conversion cycles are controlled by a differential clock input with an internally selectable divide-by-1 to 8 ratio. An optional duty cycle stabilizer (DCS) is used to compensate for large clock duty cycle fluctuations while maintaining excellent overall ADC performance.
The digital output data format is offset binary, Gray code, or two's complement. A data output clock (DCO) is used to ensure that the receive logic has proper latch timing. 1.8 V and 3.3 V CMOS levels are supported.
The AD9609 is packaged in a 32-lead LFCSP, RoHS compliant, and is specified over the industrial temperature range of ?40°C to +85°C.

Product Spotlight
The AD9609 operates from a single 1.8 V analog supply, while the digital output drivers operate from separate supplies to accommodate 1.8 V to 3.3 V logic.
The sample-and-hold circuit maintains excellent performance at input frequencies up to 200 MHz, and is low cost, low power, and easy to use.
Standard serial port interface supports various product features and functions, such as: data output formatting, internal clock divider, power saving mode, DCO and data output (D9 to D0) timing and offset adjustment, and reference mode Wait.
Available in a 32-lead LFCSP package, the AD9609 is RoHS compliant and pin-compatible with the AD9629 12-bit ADC and AD9649 14-bit ADC, so 10- and 14-bit converters with sampling rates from 20 MSPS to 80 MSPS can be easily upgraded
