The SCT2325 is a synchronous step-down DCDC converter with an input voltage range of 3.8V to 32V, a fixed output voltage of 5V, and an output current of 2A. The chip integrates power MOSFET tubes, and the on-resistance is 140mΩ for the upper tube and 70mΩ for the lower tube. The chip has an ultra-low quiescent current of 20uA, and optimizes the step-down conversion efficiency through the pulse cross-cycle modulation mode (PSM Mode) under light load, so that the conversion efficiency under 12V input/5mA load conditions is as high as 88%. SCT2325 adopts peak current control mode, provides internal loop compensation to reduce the number of peripheral devices, simplifies the design for users and reduces the cost of the whole machine. The chip features an EMI-suppressed driver design and achieves spectrum spread with ±6% frequency jittering at a 1.1MHz switching frequency. By optimizing the internal drive design, the SCT2325 achieves SW ringing-free and reduces high-frequency radiated EMI without changing the on/off time of the MOSFET and sacrificing the conversion efficiency of the buck. The chip has output voltage overvoltage protection, switch peak current limit and overheat protection, providing multiple guarantees for the safety of practical applications. The package of SCT2325 is TSOT23-6L, which is convenient for the PIN pin design of one-layer PCB board wiring, and provides users with a small-sized power supply solution.
