Overview

WS90562 is a high-precision LED constant current control chip, which is used in non-isolated step-down LED power supply systems, suitable for full voltage input or 12V~500V DC voltage input. The WS90562 integrates a 500V power MOSFET, which requires only a few external components to achieve excellent constant current characteristics. The WS90562 chip has a high-precision current sampling circuit, and adopts advanced constant current control technology to achieve high-precision LED constant current output and excellent linear adjustment rate. The chip works in the critical mode of inductor current, and the system output current does not change with the change of inductance and LED operating voltage, achieving excellent load regulation. WS90562 adopts advanced source driving technology, the chip working current is only 150uA, no auxiliary winding is needed for power supply, which simplifies the design and reduces the system cost. WS90562 adopts patented inverting OVP logic to prevent light flashing in wet weather or PCB/glue leakage; open circuit protection voltage is adjustable through Rovp resistor, which can meet different application requirements and save costs. WS90562 adopts unique intelligent temperature control technology inside, which completely solves the problem of high temperature lamp flashing. WS90562 has multiple protection functions, including LED open/short circuit protection, current sampling resistor short circuit protection and chip over temperature protection. WS90562 is available in 7-Pin SOP-7 and DIP-7 packages.
