DVPL is a non-isolated, synchronous, step-down regulator converter that steps down the voltage at the point of end use. DVPL is the world's first load converter designed and manufactured to military-grade reliability specified by MIL-PRF-38534.

A single isolated DC-DC converter is used to power the smaller DVPL POL converter at the load, resulting in significant power system space, weight, heat and cost savings.
